The Office of Student Affairs: Here to Help

The Office of Student Affairs at the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the quality of student life experience throughout the four years of medical school.

Student Affairs provides a variety of services, including academic scheduling, financial aid, physical and mental wellness, career counseling, externships, residency preparation and professional development.

The Office of Student Affairs is located in room 1682 of the School of Medicine Education Building and is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Code of Conduct and Honor Code.

Students studying medicine at UC Riverside are bound to follow the Medical Code of Ethics, which are outlined in the School of Medicine Honor Code.

Financial Aid

The Office of Financial Aid at the UCR School of Medicine is here to help you meet the costs of your medical education and to help teach you how to manage your finances and educational debt, freeing you to concentrate on your academic pursuits.

Special Lecture Series

The Special Lecture Series is an important teaching tool and ritual of medical education, serving as an essential supplement to medical school and on-the-job resident training. The Special Lecture Series helps students keep up to date on important evolving areas which may be outside their core practice and classroom experience.
