Biography

Dr. Anita Hadpawat-Lee, M.D., joined the UC Riverside School of Medicine from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, where she was an assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Women's Health. She also worked as an OB-GYN at the Montefiore Medical Center, which is the university hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Hadpawat-Lee owns a M.S. in maternal and child health from the Harvard School of Public Health and an M.D. from Stony Brook University School of Medicine.

She is a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She has served on multiple quality improvement and patient safety committees as well as the policy committee for the Public Health Association of New York.

She has participated in a wide range of quality improvement and educational initiatives relating to resident education, simulation-based training, patient provider communication, mental health services and access to preventive care.

Research Interests

In addition to her interest in all aspects of women's health, her research interests focus on cost-effectiveness research, public health programs and policy and outcomes analysis.
