Dr. Alexis S. Hinds, M.D., M.B.A., is a health sciences assistant clinical professor of psychiatry with the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine and a child and adolescent psychiatrist with the Riverside University Health System.

Hinds previously worked as an associate professor of child & adolescent psychiatry at the Los Angeles County/University of Southern California Hospital.

She attended Haverford College as an undergraduate, earning her B.A. in molecular biology. She attended Stanford University for Medical School and initially did a residency in opthalmology before completing a second residency in general psychiatry at the University of New Mexico followed by a fellowship in child psychiatry at the University of Miami. She also attended the Anderson School of Business at the University of California, Los Angeles, earning and M.B.A.

Research Interests

Hinds' research interests include medical informatics and transgender health of children and adolescents.
