Biography

Dr. Jeannie Lochhead, M.D. is an assistant clinical professor of psychiatry at the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine. She serves as the assistant training director for the psychiatry residency, and is the director of clerkships for the fourth year of the UCR School of Medicine.

Lochhead came to UCR from the UC Irvine Department of Psychiatry, where she completed psychiatry residency, served on the residency training committee, participated in curriculum development, and presented at multiple American Psychiatric Association Annual Meetings.

She earned a B.S. in psychology from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. She then attended the Columbia University Premedical Postbaccalaureate Program, worked full-time for the Mailman School of Public Health, assisted with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Fogarty Southern Africa-Columbia HIV training program, and served on the Master of Public Health Curriculum Committee. She attended the University of Rochester School of Medicine for her M.D.

Research Interests

Lochhead's interests include mood and anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, public health, and medical education.
