Biography

Dr. Ravi Patel, M.D. is an assistant clinical professor of health sciences at the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine and an attending child and adolescent psychiatrist with the Riverside University Health System, Behavioral Health.

Patel earned his medical degree from the Government Medical College in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India. He practiced in India before coming to the United States, where he completed his residency in psychiatry at the University of Missouri, Kansas City. He followed that with a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Illinois.

Research Interests

Prior to conducting his residency, Patel was a research assistant at Rush University Medical Center and American Medical Research, Inc., both in Chicago, Illinois.
