Dr. Lawrence Yu, M.D. is an assistant clinical professor of psychiatry at the UC Riverside School of Medicine and a psychiatrist for the Riverside County Department of Mental Health.

Before coming to UCR, Yu was a child and adolescent psychiatry fellow at University of California, Irvine and a psychiatry resident at the University of Arizona. During his time in these institutions, Yu was also a subcontractor in child and adolescent psychiatry and a medical student mentor.

Yu is certified with the Medical Board of California and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and is proficient in Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.
