Mini-Grant Program Names Recipients for 2021-22

The Community Medicine and Population Health Mini-Grant program, sponsored by the UCR School of Medicine's Center for Healthy Communities, has announced its recipients for the 2021-22 academic year. Each program will receive $5,000 to support their projects.

Newly Graduated Residents Add to Pool of Local Physicians

Dating back to 2016, a total of 114 residents and 30 fellows have graduated from UCR-sponsored programs. Of the residents, 50 have stayed in the Riverside, San Bernardino and Coachella Valley regions and 100 have stayed in California.

SOM and UCR Health New Hires and Promotions Announced

The UCR School of Medicine has announced a variety of new hires and promotions at the Dean's Town Hall on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. A total of 13 academic and 20 staff hires were announced as well as seven academic promotions and two staff promotions.

Daniel Teraguchi Named Associate Dean for Student Affairs

Daniel Teraguchi, Ed.D., will join the UCR School of Medicine as the associate dean for Student Affairs on September 7, 2021. Teraguchi will lead the School of Medicine's admissions program and pipeline programs, in addition to having an active role in every aspect of Student Affairs.
